The Eastern Eventers Equestrian Club
Eastern Eventers is a not-for-profit organization. The club's primary mandate is to provide a safe and encouraging environment, in which an interest in traditional equine sport is able to be fostered, amongst the equestrian community of Cape Breton. We always welcome new members, as well as opportunities to introduce new riders to the exciting world of eventing & dressage.
Throughout the year, the club provides showing opportunities for both english and western enthusiasts, as well as several clinics focusing on english riding and eventing. Riders at a broad range of skill levels, are welcome to participate.

Important Safety Information
The Eastern Eventers and the East Isle Equestrian Park staff are passionate about horses and equine sport, but we also know that there's nothing more important than safety in the saddle. We also recognize the role that proper safety equipment and well maintained tack play, in the prevention of equestrian related injuries.
As such, all participants in shows and/or clinics taking place at the East Isle Park must wear both a well fitting ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet (Cycling, skateboarding, skiing helmets, etc. are not acceptable), and appropriate riding footwear (sneakers, Uggs, sandals, etc. are not permitted). The use of safety vests is also required for any participant wishing to attempt the x-country course. Please make sure your tack and equipment is in a safe condition to ride, and that you are able to effectively manage your horse.
Your safety, and that of our club members, is our highest concern; and so, if you are unable to meet these requirements, you will not be permitted to participate in East Isle Park events. Below, you can find several informative links and videos related, to equine safety.
