The facilities at East Isle Equestrian Park are purpose built for Horse Trials, Dressage and Show Jumping, but their versatility should not be underestimated. The park is able to adapt itself to the demands of equine disciplines as diverse and particular as barrel racing, hunter-jumpers, reining or ultimate trail, to name a few.
If you would like to see the park or would like more detailed information, please contact Robert Macneill at 902-595-0811.

The Show Jumping Arena
The East Isle show jumping arena is large enough to accommodate a full jumping course, and the park has an extensive collection of standards & cross rails for use in either clinics or competition.
The Show Barn
The show barn was built with versatility in mind. It pulls double duty with 34 large box stalls during the show season; which can then be collapsed to provide space for equipment storage, during the winter. The barn also has 6 large floor-to-ceiling double sliding doors, running water on site and ample parking for trailers available nearby.
The Dressage Arena
The park is home to a Standard Size dressage arena with exceptional footing and a covered judge's booth. Our dressage arena has, in the past, played host to Equine Canada Gold Rated dressage shows, as well as CIEC Team NS Qualifying shows, barrel racing and ultimate trail competitions.
The Cross-Country Course
Our cross-country course is the only one of it's kind on Cape Breton Island, and one of only a handful of Training Level facilities in the Maritimes. Covering approximately 2km, 22 jumps and traveling up the side of a mountain; the East Isle cross-country course is designed to challenge even the experienced three-day eventer. Course combinations for Pre-Entry, Entry and Pre-Training riders are also available.
